Authentic Genetics - Northern Lights #2 - Preservation

Good luck with those, I have had my eye on them for a while now. I do have the cross of nl2 and haze from AG.

Todd told me that what he has as nl2 now is actually what was the original 'northern lights', the first cross of 'purest indica' with an afghan variety.

I will be following your progress, salute.

Awesome.
Go you good thing!

Quick snapshot of the NL#2. Started with 6, down to 5. So far the structure is pretty consistent. No sex has been shown yet but getting close.

As usual this round will be a 12/12 Light cycle from seed. Plus the addition of some new supplements to the program. Terpinator and a cal/mag supplement.

Confirmed 1 male and 4 females. Was hoping for at least one other male for genetic diversity in the perseveration. But, given how consistent the structure is I have to assume the NL#2 is atleast worked a few generations anyway. I couldn't find anywhere online what F generation they seeds are at now.

Quick note - Two distinct terp profiles are coming forward from stem rubs. One has a bit of a funk to it and the other one is a bit more tropical/sweet. Both are lovely, its very early still and a lot is subject to change but I want to be as detailed as possible for posterity.
Are they done YET ! lol
I'll be watching this.
I have spoken with Todd about these, and this is one I want to run in my outdoor garden.

:ROFLMAO: I'm very excited for these. Structure is fantastic. Not sure how tall they are going to get in 12/12. They are fast flowering as it is so there is a chance in 12/12 they will flip fast and stay short. It's a very robust strain.

Looks like the NL#2 is perfectly suited for 12/12 light cycles. The male has started to open some sacks and Its definitely hitting up the ladies. The Gary clone isn't quite ready for pollen as well as the night night mass Pheno #2 (Black Haze Leaner back right of photo). The Cuban Black Haze is all dusted up.

Looking good! I just finished up feminizing Purist Indica with two real old school stanker ass phenos. Ive got NL#2 going on 3 weeks of veg. I send mine off to Farmer Freeman. Had 6 females out of 10 and my dumbass went camping and lost 2 while I was gone.....not a big deal because all of Todd's old school strains are very consistent with each other. If you didn't do a stem rub you would think they were all clones.

Anyhow, good luck. Im gonna run these, then pick a couple or one and feminize it too. Next will be Mel Franks Durban Poison.

Few pics of early flowering nodes. Great terps are coming from these and roughly in the same terp profile. Tropical/blue berry and a slight incense/funk mostly. Truly does remind me of the NL I used to get back in the day. Something I haven't smelled in years. Its a leafy Xmas tree situation and I could have pruned some more leaves than I did but its a seed run.

@Senokai, did you have all short and stout phenos? Your pictures show them all pretty uniform. Ive got three short and one tall with great internode spacing. Took clones from all them for my feminizing project after I evaluate them. Really stoked and hoping the one has those NL#2 characteristics on point with terps & smoke.
There is one run pheno this round. Its been crowded out by the others. Haven't had the heart to cull it lol
