Consensus best strains in 2025

I came across this from an oogle search, but I am very much wondering what will be the next big strains this year?

Apples and Bananas seems to impress alot of folks.

Not new but Perm Marker. Trop Cherry. Super Boof.

What do yall think?! Anything else?

I’m always late to the game. I need to catch up I’ll stay subbed and try to catch up lol. I do have a couple apples and bananas crosses I could try to find an outdoor location for. Indoors isn’t gonna be done for a while.

Only new strain I’ve grown was from @THT and @Senokai 1212 seeds Jetpack! If that strain gets grown out enough it could take off and make the list. Loud tart cherry fuel smell and taste also very potent. Easy to grow…. I plan on running it again. I grab for it often maybe the most.

If I had to choose best strain, Gary Payton. To this day it still checks all the boxes and have not come across anything that tops it, yet.

I would have to agree, and add a honorable mention to glitter bomb! Another checks all the boxes cultivar

If grown to it’s full potential they def sell np and def top tier menu always, anything orginal or crossed with. I mention a lot of time on list the core parent cause otherwise it would be insane more strains (yeah)

This includes sooo many I wouldn’t want to grow ( wanna smoke thou lol) and many are super hard to get the legit results cause they are so finicky but also horrible yeilds . this is why so many need to be mastered or crossed , some even listed cause they breed and improve looks and vigors ( example Oreoz ). Point is I’d buy any of these (flower )and def demanded if grown correct hints why 10-30 years kept. Biggest issue is bad growers or fakes of clone /bud and bad runs and over growing it per season and people cement in strains temporarily they think aren’t as good but really it was the bad growers fault. hints why sooo many were majority of growers market like blue dream or kush or gg4 when marketed wanted it soo much, interesting enough when u look at top calis trains it’s still a lot of old school ones and they def are top priced.

After seeing the list above of the newer strains I have grown cap junky and lemon tree and they were both very high on my list. Always grabbed for one or the other when I had them both and just ripped some cap junky. Also I have some crosses with Gary Payton, apples and bananas and zoap. Also have had some of the old school but still worthy today and agree with the ones I’ve had as well. So many great strains it’s hard when each has its own character and to keep it effective for meds, variety is needed.
