Grease cannabinoid booster

I ordered a huge box of insect frass from a guy on eBay...Very good price! It's the first thing my clones get after they finally root out and I stop with the bleach water..I've used frass for years and ya don't know just how beneficial it is untill you stop using it....while still in the same small bathroom cups they rooted in, a pinch of frass...and pinch of kelp...They darken up and explode into growth before they move on to bigger pots
Right on brother! I agree...insect frass is loaded with beneficial microbes and nutrients.

I've never used bleach water on clones before? Sounds like I need to do some research.

I've had good results with hydrogen peroxide. I use about 4 tablespoons per gallon of the 3% hydroxide peroxide to soak the plugs. It helps disinfect too. About 1-2 teaspoons for the spray bottle to keep the plugs hydrated until they root.

But I never over saturate the plugs. It's a moisture dance when rooting cuttings. I soak the cuttings in a cup of clean water till they are fully hydrated...about 2 hours or so. Then they get the final 45* cut, dipped in hormone and get plugged. You want them to have to search for water. Warm root zone and just enough water to keep them from drooping.

Check out Northwest Redworms for your frass needs. I know the Doug the owner...good people. Hands down the best compost and worm castings in the business. It's all made from tree/plant material, no bovine manure.

I have proposition for the Grease guys. @GrowWithGrease

I work at a rec warehouse in Oregon. We have to test (thc, cbd, heavy metals and microbial.) our weed every round before its sold. We also have test averages for the more popular types we grow. There are many variables that dictate the cannabinoid production in cannabis. I'd be happy to put your product to the test. I'll do a side by side with a table of the same type of cultivar. I'll give photos and results. Just let me know.

Here a few photos.

Check out Scwaggy's guide bro. I've never used Bleach either, but arguing with results is a waste lol. Honestly I've not used peroxide either, though it makes sense.

Yep bleach is great. I haven't met a strain that can't be rooted rather quickly yet since I've been using it..No rooting hormone nothing! Just shove the snip down in coco and water with bleach water....10 drips per gallon of tap water...simple

Why the facepalm @BH ? I've never been more successful with cloning using this method...Don't get much better than 100% I'll NEVER do it any different way💯

Since u asked , why post these non topic replies anout nothing to do with this product. this product and the product discussion made directly for this thread has zero reason to discuss such aka cloning . I was keeping this to myself but since u asked ? Zero related till both you guys starting talking about cloning…

if everyone did this for every thread with random discussion exp on review based threads for stuff than the discussion is smeared with spam and Non related things. Take it or leave it but I think it’s annoying when I try to learn about a product or info and someone randomly wants to redirect the thread on 100% diff crap.

like I said I kept this to myself, u asked
Oh ok...so you're not dissing the method..Just making it known how easily You're annoyed...Gotcha👍

I use the entire Grease line and have had tremendously good results with it! I take a slightly modified approach in that I don’t foliar feed Golden Gun (sulfur) and I only use the Bison Brew (composted bison manure) as a top dress because I’m not able to brew compost tea in my current space.

I don’t test my harvests, but subjectively, there is improvement in potency, aroma, and taste when using these products. I believe the Alfa Grease (alfalfa extract) improves yields as well. I haven’t done a simultaneous side-by-side comparison, but I have grown the same variety with and without Grease and prefer the results of the Grease round.

I run the whole line as well-I also don't use the Golden Gun for foliars, only drenching. The thought of spraying the Golden Gun just scares me to death. That stuffs pure sulfur like a stink bomb from when you were a kid.
I think the Alfa Grease and the compost (extract and dried compost) do the most to benefit the plant, but they all work together.
I know the Alfa Grease is potent stuff-
They used to have higher dosing recommendations for the Alfa Grease, and when I followed those I had buds that looked like "PGR" bud, however much frostier and aromatic. I had two cookies/GDP crosses that produced buds so dense they could hardly be broken by hand. Dense buds on hazes, and other varieties with normally looser bud structure.
It seems like 2 years ago they lowered the recommended dosage and have you not spraying the last couple of weeks, which seems to be ideal.

Yup, I can only grow indoors at the moment and that’s precisely why I don’t spray it either 😂

I just realized that my earlier post was incomplete: I also don’t spray Grow, Bloom, or Super Grease because of the molasses content. I have no doubt at all that the plants would benefit from foliar application of all the above, but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to do it in my tents. If you’ve ever sprayed those, how did it go? I’m mostly concerned about a sticky mess, but maybe it’s not as bad as I fear?

I’d have a hard time singling out any product as having the most benefit because I think the different products benefit the plants in various ways, but I think you hit the nail on the head with “they all work together.” My sense is that using any of the products is beneficial, and using them in combination really turbocharges results.

Absolutely, and I’m glad the application rate’s dialed in now. Thanks for sharing your experience with bud grown at the higher levels, that’s really interesting!

Grease products ,I’ve sprayed all of their products that are intended for at low and highest, also drenches for multple rounds. Never their products burn or promote bad growths vs many that def add or overdo things . I do know alfalfa extracts I tried before this I did actually have bad end results but their alpha did work but wasn’t presenting bad results that others did. I do suggest like others suggested once mid flower to use lowest dosage of alpha just in case certain pheno’s don’t like it ( none of mine did but owner of this suggested such)
