I often seem to have the problem when shopping with Bezos, alot of the same product rebranded by a bunch of sellers whose names seem like random combinations of letters.
It's hard to find anything of decent quality sometimes.
So, does anyone have specific suggestions for RO replacement filters?
I'm running a Aquaticlife Buddy 75. About to add a chloramine carbon block filter that's in a canister style case. When that comes it will be 4 stage. Sediment, carbon, carbon block (chloramine), and Ro Membrane.
But before that I've been running the 3 stage- sediment, carbon and RO membrane. New it was great like 4 ppm if I recall. Recently went up slowly to 12 ppm.
The sediment and 1st carbon filter are 1/4" push connectors. The block carbon is in a canister as is the RO membrane.
I think filters are relatively interchangeable.
I put in aquaticlifes ro membrane and it wasnt great... ppm stayed the same as it was with my old RO membrane, actually up abit to 14 ppm. I'd like to get back to single digits like it was new. It came with a vontron ulp1812-75 but that's not readily available now.
Tap water is 168ppm. The aqualife was just 92% if my math is good.
So long story long, what are yall running for RO systems if you are, and why, and what brands do you like?
