Just finished Red Lebonese Hashplant x Golden goat

How did she turn out?

Lavender Goat testers at 4 weeks from flip.

This strain is one of the fastest vegging strains I’ve ever grown. Similar to Frim’s Sarsaparilla in that regard. Has only stretched maybe 20% since flip.

Not much smell on the buds yet, but the stem rub is very unique. There’s a hint of lavender, but there’s also a bit of a urine smell too. Hits you in the back of the nostrils almost like smelling salts. Very powerful. One thing is for sure, she does not smell like the Sour Goat.

Smells are complicated; I’ll need to get back on that. Hard to describe…wish I had a better nose for descriptions.

These Goat crosses from brother Shoreline are legitimate. At least the two I’ve tried. I’d like a crack at the GDP one, might have to dust off the old dormant bean shopping cart

These were the two I grew out. Pretty sure I went around 10 weeks, but I would have to check.

They threw anthers for me on the tops of both, and I’ve had a couple dozen seeds I’ve picked out. Not sure if it was on me or not.

I took cuts of the first and they are well into flower, so I’m getting a second crack at it to see if it happens again in my garden.

I described the smoke to @Shoreline in our PM’s. I’ll go find what I wrote and post it later.

Hope you get great results. It’s excellent smoke, boy parts notwithstanding.

My reply to Shoreline:

Yes, I’ve smoked nearly ounce of it. Only had maybe a couple dozen seeds in the entire plant, so not so bad. We'll see how the second comes out.

I’d love to give you a smoke report, but I fucking suck at them. i’ll try to give you my impressions. It’s good strong pot. There are noticeable differences between the lowers and the uppers on this one, probably as much as 10% THC. The tops are quite potent.

I’d call this a solid hybrid. Whereas the sour goat was definitely sativa dominant, this one is much more middle of the road. Never sleepy, but relaxing to start. A little bit of pressure behind the eyes. Within 30 minutes, energy returns. Kind of makes your mind wander while still being quite functional. Great for mindless tasks, but I wouldn’t want to do anything that requires finesse, since you’ll be easily distracted.

I’ll have to get back to you on the smells and flavors. This is my weak point. I don’t really think about it as I’m doing it but next time I’ll try to pay more attention.
