Looks like Leucocoprinus birnbaumii sclerotia. https://gardening.stackexchange.com/questions/33077/whwhat-are-these-specks-of-white-fuzz-in-some-of-my-potting-soil
Keep an eye on it and see if any mushrooms sprout up.

I remember seeing something like this yrs back. Unfortunately I don't remember if it were fungi or insect. I'd still remediate it. H2o2 will work, but will kill mycos as well.
