Ide like to hear from other folks cause this has been on my mind alot!
As some may know I definitely enjoy my booze and always have..Also enjoy the cannabis but it's limited..Anyone chime in please to help me understand..
I would say 90% of the time I don't enjoy OR even light up unless I got a alcohol buzz of some sort..It's not always been this way..I used to really prefer cannabis over alcohol..I just barely get pain relief from cannabis and Alcohol mixed with cannabis is the most pain relief I've found..I don't understand why I just can't sit down like I used to and smoke a whole doob and just be happily blasted..The thing is I flat out do not enjoy it like that anymore.. As much as ide love for cannabis to be the answer for me it's not and that honestly bothers me ..I'm sure y'all seen me mention how picky I am several times...There is a real reason for that..Most strains don't give me a pleasant feeling anymore..It is frustrating..Now give me a good alcohol buzz and I'll smoke like a damn 20 yr old and feel great..I pay for that tho and end up on the Albuterol inhaler a few days.Ide love nothing more than to be able to just smoke any ole strain at any ole time and feel great. That's never the case for me ..WHY.. I have endless supply and top shelf at that...WTF is my problem
Hopefully some of y'all can help me dig into what the problem is...Perhaps ask the right questions to get something to click..
Just last night my brother came to visit and we was chatting and having a great time..Three hits off some Rosin and I felt really uneasy and was no longer enjoying myself...I don't get it..I've beat this up back and forth in my mind..After really taking a deeper look I realized I do most of my smoking alone and while tending plants.. Anything social makes me not enjoy it but that's not always the case..just digging trying to figure out the problem...I used to LOVE staying stoned..Now I don't..But I wish I did...Make sense? It don't to me

Ya know I never did either with the old strains..However I think even them I just wouldn't light up at anytime if I hadn't had a few beers..It's honestly a lil depressing to me..I don't want it to be this way..I recently talked to my step brother that told me he quit smoking...He flat out said he hasn't enjoyed weed for about 8 yrs..That the new strains are not the same and he hates em. That's the thing...I don't hate them. I love them. But most of that love is from a growers standpoint..Just maybe I'll soak some really old school and let him give them a whirl when I do..I'm sure it won't change the way I feel about it

One big difference between new & old strains is CBD.
Rather than try to find or create a new strain that has a good balance of THC and CBD, I grow both CBD and THC strains, then blend them right before smoking.
That way I can adjust it on the fly.
