I’m seeing amber trichomes on my buds and it’s early week 6.
The plants are definitely not done because they’re sprouting clumps of new pistils!

Could it be too much light?
It’s definitely not genetic because there are four different strains and they’re all showing some amber.

Right now I’m running a 1,000 watt LED and was thinking about swapping it out for a couple of smaller lights that can be set to run only RED spectrum @ 200 watts each.

Has anyone else seen this?

Shade the scope from the above light. Ive found the light above will/can give false looking amber trichomes.

Since it's on all 4 different strains, I'm betting is a false amber. Too much light and the fan leaves will turn over and try to "hide" from the light. Only time I've seen that is with 1000w hps on younger plants w/o co2.

I’m not seeing twisted fan leaves, but many sugar leaves are twisted.

OMG that light is bright!
Gotta wear a hat with a brim to keep light from getting around my sunglasses.

Definitely gonna swap lights tomorrow.
It won’t be a big deal because my trays are all on furniture movers.

Are both of those fixtures lit ?
Each unit draws 4.5 Amps ?
I haven’t ran them in a while, but I’m pretty sure the p900s pulled 2 amps each on 240v, or 4 amps for both at full power.
I was thinking about running them in flower mode which is all red and uses half the power.

But… I ended up just moving the big light higher and leaving it on for less time.

The black dog pulls 4 amps on 240v and doesn’t have a dimmer switch.

Make sure you wear proper eye PPE with led's, even cmh. It's normal for sugar leaves to curl. Normally week 7/8.

Are you running uv bars?
I’m not running UV bars but do occasionally use MH for a dose of UV.

As a side note, it’s odd that these plants have stayed green so long in 2-gallon buckets. I’ve been giving them only water for almost 3 weeks and have seen zero fade. grr

They all got top-dressed with compost before going into flower, and it must have been way hotter than usual.
