i ran 4 packs of their purple octane line, for the price I would highly suggest em as long as the user realizes like any fem line and these lineages there is chances of hermies ( key is daily scanning ). I had 3 of 6 hermie of the purple cherry gas , 0 hermies Sunoco , 1 hermie on junky fix ( just a ball , removed and never came back), jokerz nos had same issue but 2 plants with singular ball on bottom ( removed and never came back) , the baby gas had zero hermies but its biggest downfall was only 2 pheno’s of baby gas were worth growing out of the 4 that survived (killed the ultra runts in first 2-3 weeks of bloom)
not only did they have good germ rates, plants looked overall great but the quality is where the market demands it. there’s no way I would spend 500+ bucks for purple octane when Bay Area did and crossed it with top 10 hype strains of the market. Plain and simple
now I emailed them while buying and they within minutes responded back and answered any of my questions and requests ( like I bought there whole package of purple octane and I wanted to make the packs half packs since I was splitting them with mm , they did it np)
i emailed them the week I got all my confirmed hermies and told them I’m not forcing you to give me packs/cash back or bitch you out, I want you to just know ur numbers but factor in the percentage of those hermies/runts in the project . Like a tester would do I wanted to make sure they also knew these had some ( I bet the 500 buck pack from seed junky has same %, so $ doesn’t factor = hermies reduced in this market yet..)
they emailed back and told me they do pre test their seeds but like any modern hybrid hermies do happen, I agree with them! there’s many companies once u get to talk to em u can def tell if they are legit and want to help you or it’s a 180. Most of the time and this company was legitimate on their prices but also the end results at least to my standards I feel are most def worth the price .
I wanted purple octane and jet fuel hardcore and ran a few prev to these trials but I must say overall their seeds have been nothing but good stuff ! Shoot even the baby gas which I thought was gonnea all be runts and worthless compared to rest of line when it was start of bloom and before but now i can’t just diss it, it’s chunky , it’s looks decent yielding and the smell is decent ( gas and some pine funk)
