How to handle FECO. Syringes, dish, or what?

I've used plenty of FECO in the past, but this is my first time making it. I did a small batch just to try my hand at it. I wound up with a couple of grams in a glass beaker a few inches across. I sucked up nearly a gram in a syringe, but I'm having trouble sucking up any more. So how do you handle FECO? I've used plenty of 1g syringes in the past and even watched a guy filling dozens of them, but at least when you're down to the last bits how do you handle it? Not to mention, I always feel like I'm wasting more than I'd like when I use a syringe. I have probably a few dozen 'empty' syringes in the fridge with remnants I'd like to figure how to get the last bits out.

Use a silicone spatula to scrape the glass beaker. It helps if the glass beaker/oil is a little warm, so it gives better. Then suck it up with another syringe.
