Now that things around here have gotten back to some semblance of order and routine, the plants are getting the attention they deserve.
Buds are swelling and plants are thriving. By the way, any powdery stuff you see on the leaves is diatomaceous earth and not mildew.

#4 These stretchy ones really benefit from topping and training.

#9 is the only short, stout plant of this run.

This is shaping up to be another banger from the Wizard of Nugzz!

man, just binged through this and damn those are some fine looking plants.

gutted to hear about your mom and the helene recovery; my little sister and bio mom both got hit hard as well, and then got to ride out milton with us on top of it so i know those feelings well. actually took a trailer of supplies up to Asheville a few days after helene for a buddy who lives there, unbelievable what happened.

all that said, damn. where can i find some of these monsters 😂

Another lovely week of progress is the books. If these plants continue as they have, this is going to be a run that tests the limits of my odor control.
Aromas range from indescribable funk to super clean, sweet, lemony pinesol cleaner. Very promising.

After doing some training, these didn't stretch nearly as much as I expected.

So far, they have been very stable with no sighs of intersex traits.

#4 Nice bud structure. Lemon/pine profile. Excellent but structure.
4_1_12_3.JPG
#4 Good early resin production
4_2_21_3.JPG

#6 This one leans towards the indescribable funk side.
6_1_12_3.JPG
#6 Slightly leafier than #4 but still excellent.

#7 This one is Sweet Lemon/Pine cleaner but turned up to 11.
7_1_12_3.JPG
#7 Smaller buds but way more pungent than the rest.
7_2_12_3.JPG

#9 Has more of an Afghani structure. Also emits the Indescribable Funk aroma.

#9 She, like her sisters, have dense, roundish, OG type buds.

Until Next time, Cheers!

As these plants mature, 3 of the four are taking on a very viney OG structure. Thin, sprawling branches with long spaces between nodes and little round buds.
All four carry the pine cleaner terps with #7 being the loudest. This line is not going to be a big yielder, but I can already tell that it's going to make up for that in sheer quality.
I have a very special place in my heart for OG. It's cuttings take root very well too.

#7 has small buds. I mean almost Dr. Grinspoon small. But it a terpy little lady.

#9 has as stouter more Afghan like structure. But carries the same sweet pinesol smell.

Well, it's harvest time this week. Cherry Face is very forgiving and pleasant plant to grow. It's a bit on the small side. I was expecting much more stretch but they never really did. A few more weeks of veg would benefit this line greatly. But it has some over the top sweet lemon cleaner terps to help make up for that. It's a real resin monster as well. There are a range of phenos to search through, some turning dark purple, nearly black when ripe. Even though there was a bit of structural variation, the terp profiles are very similar. So I'm guessing one of the parents is a real genetic dominator in that sense. Resin glands are large and plentiful hinting at a potent effect. It's a pretty fast finisher being ready in the 60 day range.
I've been smoking mainly Chem crosses for a while now so this is going to be a very nice change.
These will be easy to process as the buds contain very few bracts and plants are not overly leafy in general.
In my experience, these are the types of plants that qualify for the personal head stash club.

pretty buds, but damn thats a lot of soil for such a small yielding strain. how would those do in some 1's.

pretty ..
Thanks Jaws!

I believe this line would do just fine in much smaller pots, they were pretty low maintenance and light feeders aside from being on the small side.

I run ROLS in 15 gal totes and pretty much flower everything in those, big or small.

Plus, running testers, you never know how big the plants will be, sometime the extra pot size comes in handy.

Cheers.
