Land of Stinkin'

The only breeder who's fems never hermed on me is @Amos Otis
My Rainbow Cereal Milk keeper(regs) hermed on the 3rd generation of clones. Momma Cereal Milk was a fem so even reg seed could herm if there is a fem in its lineage.
The breeder with the most herms....Brothers Grimm without a doubt. He'll tell ya it herms then collect your money. Most of what I have from him was gifted. The only 3 that didn't herm were C99 xx, Cindy purple and ocifer. He even said c99 was created with Dutch bagseed. Ocifer did throw some very late stress nanners but that's acceptable. I literally have just about all the testers he released. He shoulda called that the "Sac City Drop" 🤣
Doesn't matter to me who who wants to deny the fact that adding herm genes to a line is heritable..It's a FACT.. Sadly the majority of growers and chuckers these days just don't care..It's not shocking..We as humans are known for ruining anything we touch..Of course you can find stable fem lines..Of course you can find unstable indoor reg lines..But adding hermaphroditic genetics to any gene pool is hustling backwards...It only makes sense for one reason and one reason only....I know the reason...Most don't... If ya don't know the reason ask yourself is adding hermaphroditic genetics helping future generations of plants for the true indoor grower? Are these plants going to help the grower smooth thru easier grows without issues? Is this generation of seeds I produce going to improve quality for future generations of the plant in general..... Seeing those breeders on IG trying to normalize herms just made me sick.. Actually disgusted and pissed...Comparable to preying on the weak in my mind...To get 100% stability out of seeds the facts haven't changed...It takes good ole fashioned work and Alot of time.. However that's not the world we live in anymore

I was pretty upset when that Rainbow Cereal Milk hermed but when I did the research on what she used and found out they weren't even tested it made more sense. Everything I ran of hers hermed. Us regular growers who don't breed or chuck are most of the time just being told we're doing something wrong in our grow, light leaks etc when we get herms. It couldn't be their untested genetics that originates from bagseed they got on a trip one year in the 90s. If I didn't like his c99xx and Cinderella Purple xx i would I would trash them. C99 is my favorite and it's hard to find stable regular photoperiod seeds of it.

I scanned the 3 Marshmallow Rolls and no sacs today, I just gave them water. Maybe there is a trend here. The first time they threw sacs was about a week in and right before watering. While the pot was moist, no sacs. They need watering again....sacs. The day after watering no sacs. Maybe there are some dry pockets in the root ball. I'm just trying to find anything to work with at this point. They are some sensitive plants, that's for sure.

Thank you for that write up. I love when breeders who know what they are doing explain it how it is. It's not about the money, it's about the plants, and the people who grow them, not that other green stuff we all love to hate. I appreciate you 🤙

Thanks and I hope some ppl don't take offense to the truth..There isn't a damn thing wrong with running fem seeds. It just fits some growers needs better and I get that but to breed with non proven hermaphroditic plants is blatant disrespect for the plant and the growers paying for the seeds in my honest opinion..There has been plenty of times I wish I had a few packs of fems laying around to run for different reason. Sometimes it's hard not to chuck pollen on a nice pheno that came from a fem line... REALLY hard... doesn't make it right tho

I gave all of the seedlings 5 grams/ gallon of VBX and... they are growing, all of them. I've been out of the magic dust for a month now and veg has been complete shit the whole time, until now. Fox Farm grow big almost killed most of the juveniles, that's why you only see 3 left in the closet. Here's some happy seedlings

I just flipped a couple f5 clones ...That stuff surely don't stick around...I'll probably keep my cut forever but I can't wait to hunt thru the f6 beans towards the end of the year..Have a few F3 from @Frimpong that has me half insane to run..I plan on making a whole other line of Pure Michigan based off of the cakey nutty phenos.. Hopefully I find that which I'm sure I will...When I started selection with the Pure Michigan I chose away from that and grabbed the foul rubbery spicy dog breath ones...I absolutely love those but I want both... Hopefully I can make enough F4s to really hunt out a super Nutty cake batter terped out queen🎉🎉🎉. Those gifted f3s ranks way up there with the best of gifts I ever got. Big shout out to @Frimpong for that

It's that time of the year. The gf said veggies so veggies she has, well just a few for now. Romaine , green pepper, sweet pepper and jalapeño pepper. A lot of the romaine will go to our very old guinea pig and it is the only green vegetable that my daughter will eat. I plan on building a greenhouse or paying a buddy to build it for me, nothing huge, just one of these clear panel ones on Amazon . That'll make gardening a bit easier.

These seed cell trays are only 20 bucksfor 10 and come with drain trays and double vented domes.

Looking awesome in here , like a well oiled machine!!
All I have is time, my family and my plants. I also have everything I need now so I'm ready to rock the rest of the year out full blast. If I stop moving, the back and knees lock up and i find myself in here for hours, reading and thinking what it must be like to have some of the huge beautiful gardens I see on here. I try my hardest.
