Well, 2020 was a shit year. 2021 is looking much better. For starters, we legalized growing in these parts which is friggin’ awesome! This means I can devote my time and focus in a much more chill and relaxed fashion… which is the point of growing all this pot anyway, right?

Anywho, felt these a changin' times deserved a new journal devoted to less stressful ways.

My new flower room is up and running. It’s a converted crawl space that’s roughly 7’H x 5W’ x 3’D. I splurged on a new light because you know I like shiny things.



On the veg side of the force, I have a bunch going. The goal was to force myself to dig into the bean pile and actually start growing some of these. Everyone's clipped and has a "mini me."

Strains I have going at the moment:

OGKZ -HSO

Critical Jack Auto -Dinafem. This seed got mixed up with something else. When it began to flower at the 24 day mark still in the Solo cup, I knew what got mixed up. Looks like it won't get much bigger Kinda bummed about this honestly, this plant deserved better!

Rise and shine. New shoes for everyone! I wanted this soil to "cook" a bit longer but these girls were looking mighty crammed in their solo cups and were needing water about every 2-3 days. Hopefully this 2 week old soil isn't too hot. Everyone had robust, good looking roots (that I plastered in Mykos) so I'm not too worried.

After my friend brought his Nugsmasher over I was kinda hooked. Got a good deal on these plates during their sale, plus I had an additional 10% coupon code. Now I just need to acquire a nice H-frame press when I have some spare change.

Haven't bought seeds in a while honestly, but I'm a sucker for the old school stuff, and these will probably sell out quickly. Stoked! I've got a good collection of NL beans now. The Sensi Star x NL5 (Strayfox) I grew out recently was stellar. I've got NL2 from Deep Ellum, NL5/89NL from AKBB, and a few of his other NL5 crosses too, and now AG's F2's.

Driving home last night I saw one of those giant orange super moons. It immediately reminded me of all the old head growers saying the full moon gives your beans some extra mojo or something. I won't argue with them

I was out of town all weekend, and these were re-potted the day I left. Was a nice sight to see they had grown quite a bit in just a few days. I'll make my final cuts and send these to the flower room soon.

Everyone's been cut twice now. This is my first time using the humidity dome for clones, hopefully I don't bullocks it up!

Yep, there's a couple inches of perlite in the bottom of the buckets. I try to keep that wet all the time, and feedings get watered-in on top of the dirt like normal. Kinda takes the guess-work out of watering, and helps speed along growth.

Another beautiful day! Funny, I'm feeling great this morning, but I'm trying hard not to let others stress me out, no matter how determined they are lol.
