Veg only LEDs? Thoughts?

@rkymtnman here's another option for a more blue spectrum LED. VEG Sun Board Grow Strip with 4500/6500k Samsung LM561C LEDs + 450nm B
He also has other spectrums and you can ask him to mix spectrums as well. Just a thought. I've been using one of his kits for a few years now.

good idea! all the outlets check out fine so just a crappily designed LED.
appreciate the offer! but I'll pass on it for this grow. I might try to set up my little 2x2 tent as a sidexside experiment the next run

and I have some meanwell drivers out in the garage I might be able to use to power them up

Not much really, depending on how big the mothers are. You can easily get away with like a 60-80 watt light for a 2x2 or 2x4 space. I have 9 moms under four 4' LED veg bar lights. I think they are LUX and maybe a few ION clone lights. They're like 19 watts each.
as a rough guide, about 20 watt/sq ft for veg, 50 for bloom. so probably 10 to 15 for moms
