W.T.F is This ? ? ?

WODAHS

In Bloom
I had someone start a large majority of my seeds this year and upon the first arrivals they looked stressed and very unhealthy.tempImage2imH1i.jpg
His explanation was a family member had brought home some houseplants from a nursery without him knowing, and wasn't aware until he was fully infested with what he called a common Garden Mite. He reassured me that they were all dead and gone before he handed them off to me.
After a few weeks of Nursing them and getting them to destress it was time to get them into the ground.

This here is what I started to find once I started removing them from the pots.
Can anyone Identify WTF this is?
Would like to find out that is Beneficial to the Garden and will do NO HARM !

I've been searching the Web (no pun intended) & looking for photographs but haven't seen anything of resemblance.

Like @notdezmond my first thoutght was fungal hyphae but your story lead me to do an image search.

I found a article on the Royal Queen Seeds Site regarding

How Mycorrhiza Fungi Can Make Your Cannabis Plants Prosper

This is a photo they shown

Very similar growth patterns and similarities between them.
To me another piece that supports this is I don't see anything on the stem of the plant in the video. If RA if expect something like this

Something that concerns me though is the apparent lack of roots and maybe a less healthy look to them in the same area.

Best of luck figuring this out.

Good luck with this, always interesting to watch health issues go through the ID and resolution process. I've gone through the same sort of thing pretty much exactly, 3 out of my 4 growing seasons and last year I had enough. I'm starting my own from now on and if they're fucked up in some way I'll own that.

I have a question about your OP to this thread, I clicked on your first attachment thinking to cycle through the photos...and it downloaded. I'm pretty certain that in the past when I've opened photo attachments, I was able to view them without downloading, in fact never seen it happen before, so I'm wondering if there's something about the way in which you did that making the download happen ? I dunno.

Don't get me wrong but I don't care for that, at all. If something is going to download to my rig, the time for me to know that is before clicking. Just sayin.'

It's a movie. Not sure the hosting software can do amything about the way it is interfacing with your browser. I umderstand and share your concern @Deebs might be able to shine some light.

I knew what my rig was gonna do because of past experience with .mov files.

Right on DD, thanks for pointing that out I had missed it. I can always watch for it in the future. Thanks for that stem pic too, as soon as I saw it I was like Goddam I have one like that !

I'm not sure but I didn't try to do anything malicious. I usually use the photo icon at the top but it wasn't uploading quickly and then I used the attach files icon at the bottom. I didn't like the way it loaded photos either, but on my end I was able to browse everything without downloading.

These where stressed AF and locked out. They where transplanted to lager pots a few weeks ago when received and just got going.
Roots have just stared to take off. But I seen the discoloration near the aria. Further investigation is needed.

No problem brother I never thought you might have gotten janky with us. DD got me straight. If I had ever posted a video I might have done the same thing myself. I get a lot of coffee between 4 and 9 I must have got twitchy.

I feel ya re this problem you're having. It's about 5-6 times bigger than when I had mine. (6 vs. 36) The guy they were coming from is totally a nice guy it's just that he's got a whole universe of shit going on compared to me, he keeps his grow what seems to me kind of fast and loose. So his ways and mine didn't agree, I was looking for a better start. I did get that doing it myself this year but should have got going earlier.

Hopefully what you're seeing there will turn out to be beneficials.
