Has this so called flu hit anyone yet? Haven't experienced anything like this before..Yes I've had Covid..4 times...Had flu 4 or 5 times before..Not like this tho..Wasnt 100% I was pulling thru this one but only completely wiped out for one solid day... freezing convulsing..Insane headache.. confusion..Shitting .. puking. Almost impossible to even walk. .no eating for days..My elderly mother now has it and I'm so worried she won't pull thru this...She as stubborn as I and absolutely will not go to the hospital...I cant physically pick her up and take her.. About to call the Squad if it comes down to that later today....If you haven't had it yet buckle the F ---- up...Ide eat a bowl of covid to avoid anyone going thru this one...Any home methods y'all endorse let me know..Mom hasn't smoked weed in two days that's how I know it's serious...Trust me. That's serious ...She's a 15 J a day type of girl

There's been a flu (presumably) going around where I live for a few weeks, but not like you're describing, so maybe it's a different strain of influenza. And I have about a half dozen or so family in the Cinci area, one of them had flu a few days ago and she was pretty sick, had one real bad day before shaking it. She was probly vaxxed because she works in medical field. She had some of those symptoms, headache was severe and fever was bangin'. Don't know if she had those other symptoms. She may have had something secondary to it, they gave her amoxicillin.

My wife is on her way back from there at this moment, she was supposed to come back yesterday but the weather kept her there an extra day, and I told her to not bring any of that shit home lol. I got vaxxed for flu this year, never did get around to Covid, I would take it np but I didn't want to take them together. I almost never leave home, haven't been off the property yet this month and almost never talk with anybody but the mail or deliveries.

I hope your Mom pulls through bro, it's hard to help someone who can't keep anything in. Zinc can help when you feel it coming on but once you can't hold anything not much you can do.

My take on flu and flu like symptoms…. It’s a flush. Flushing out old toxins, or for us weed growers salt buildup..

Help the body do its job.

fast : don’t do the old “feed the flu”, that’s the opposite out body needs. It needs water and eletrolites. Just like weed, no more food for a while during the flushing! Give the systems the ability to do what they are trying to do..

So long story short the body will make it a while without food, but by continuing to feed the flu it prolongs the whole deal. Just like adding gas to a furnace when you want to fire to die down and reset, clean out the ashes and sweep the chimney

Glad you pulled through man! I really hope your mother starts feeling better soon. Hard to believe a rag and bowl of water to keep it moist all the time is the only thing that kept my brain temp down and helped me suffer less, putting it on my head constantly. Not sure if it was covid or the flu.

I can't take theraflu anymore cause my stomach, but it used to wipe the effects of any flu away for 4 hrs..enough to sleep. Used to be able to take pseudoephedrine too if any nasal congestion, or a nasal spray like afrin for fast help at night. Mucinex for mucus and mucinex dm if there was a cough too. pretty much everything i can't take anymore lol, i have to rely on things like mullein and bitter lettuce teas, turkey marrow, the netty pot, probiotics, elderberry zinc lozenges...eating too much soft boiled garlic like an ancient Egyptian slave... hard to even do any of that if sick to my stomach tho...

I'm glad you pulled through. It doesn't sound like something to take any chances with. May be worth making the call for her, sometimes its better to beg for forgiveness, than Ask for permission.

Influenza A went through my house. I only know because my nephew was sick for a couple weeks, got better for a week, then sick again, so I took him in just in case (at my sister's request). They tested him and it was influenza a (the second time, first time we guessed just a virus).
I got sick about a week later.
My symptoms were all body aches, headache and sore throat. Really bad body aches tho, felt like I was gonna die could barely move. Popping a ton of ibuprofen and acetometefin just to feel human. Hate taking that but had to.
Nothing related to stomach, or runny nose or anything like that. And I had a pretty bad cough after. Might have been a touch of pneumonia.
I was just glad it happened before I went out of town.

@HBZ , sounds like the same thing I and my family have all been dealing with. Same description of our symptoms. Never had Covid, don’t typically get the flu, seems like the super bug is being perfected. I hope you’re on the mend and your mom gets through it soon. We’re on week two and still not 100%

The problem with this is you feel so bad even the slightest break you feel like a new man...I been trying to get into the grow and Everytime I get in there I start getting weak and dizzy..Slept the good part of the day and feeling bad again .It's rough when ya have ppl depending on you..I have no time to be sick.. Watering plants in shifts lol..10 or 15 minutes of work then more rest..makes for a long day..Thank God Im semi retired and I'm able to get by without real work since my accident..Main priority right now is getting the parents thru this..The plants are not being assholes from the neglect..Yet! Seeing a few concerning gnats but that's the least of my issues right now..Thanks yall

Bro, don't push yourself that hard right now! I'm not sure what I've been fighting, but it's mainly my voice sounds like I've been trying to sing Janis Joplin, and a lot of coughing and nose running. I had stomach issues a few days, but nothing THAT bad.

I'm allergic to a lot of stuff, so mostly it's been hot sauce and spicy terp strains, which does help, but make sure you're drinking extra water if you feel the need, and get something good in your body; a pot roast with vegetables and a shit load of black pepper for example. The already ground up stuff is better than nothing, but fresh ground has more oils / trichomes left on it, and it helps with inflammation. You can also make tea with peppercorns that can help south the throat and stomach.

If the other end of you is still mad, I'm just gonna toss this out there:

Blue Cheese contains things that fight inflammation too, and it'll help bind what's coming out. Keep your protein up and I hope y'all are doing much better soon brother.

Your health is worth a lot more than a tent, so try and moderate.

I've had no choice but to Completely chill..Few days ago right when I started feeling this coming on I smoked a J of Sannies Sugar Punch (amazing haze strain.. WOW) but the next day I woke up and it felt like I was breathing thru a coffee stir stick.. Couldn't get a breath..Had I not had a nebulizer here and a box of Albuterol there is no way ide of been ok.. wouldn't even trust a Bzero vape hit right now... Literally can't..Feels like being choked out..I'm slowly starting to realize putting anything into my lungs may start being a thing of the past..Might have to grab a hold and somehow learn to like edibles..Trust me I've tried and had no luck. Hate the feeling...REAL BAD...I actually have a sleep study scheduled and a Pulmonologist appointment also..I'm not a fan of Docs and the bullshit bandaids they place over ppl with Pharma drugs but I've known I had a lung disease for years along with Asthma...Age and a wife has finally caught up with me and it seems a few docs are in my near future..Just waiting to see what type of crap they come up with this time and perhaps actually follow it..Strain selection would make no difference at this point..Clean air seems to bother me lol if of course there is such a thing as clean air ... Completely convinced in my mind shit is being put into the air. Whole other topic not meant for here tho

Got sick the day after Christmas and had it bad for about 3 days, then it got manageable for a week. Lots of fatigue with it, but didn't get a lingering cough. Dad got a week after I did and he had the same horrible 3-4 days, but his cough lingered for weeks...

She's been sleeping almost all day. Which is good. Sleep was even near impossible with the shivers..sweating and coughing.. and constant trips to the shitter...Hoping in the morning she will be asking me to roll her a "pack" of joints like normal ...man I can't get that women to vape
